Connecting VR and 360 to Online Learning

Does virtual reality (VR) and 360 video have a place in online learning? As VR continues to become an emerging trend in educational technology, World Campus Learning Design are looking to explore ways to deliver immersive and interactive content to enhance student learning. This presentation aims to share findings from the 360 video pilot, generate a discussion of its practicality, and provide a demonstration of experiencing immersive content via VR headsets.
  • Discuss practicality, including potential barriers and recommendations, of VR/360 content in an online learning environment.
  • Explore further opportunities and applications for VR/360 video in online learning.
  • Experience VR/360 content from an online learning perspective.
